UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_ee3

I am an interdisciplinary biologist from Taiwan with broad research interests spanning animal colouration, behavioural ecology, thermoregulation, functional morphology and biomechanics, and, most recently, biosecurity.

Overall, my current research focuses on two key areas: 1) Curiosity-driven: understanding how animals adapt to the environment through behaviour and morphology 2) Real-world problems: strengthening Australia’s pre-border biosecurity and increase the impacts of the Australian government’s investment in biosecurity in Southeast Asia.

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis (CEBRA) at the University of Melbourne. My primary project involves evaluating the Australian Government’s biosecurity investment in Southeast Asia through case studies, assessing the economic, environmental, and social benefits. In addition, I continue to pursue side projects on animal colouration and thermoregulation.
